Isaac Woods, MA, SEP
My work is guided by the belief that supporting individual healing promotes collective liberation. My background as a social justice organizer, farmer and environmental activist, and my experience as a queer and trans person, all inform my perspective and ground my authentic engagement in the therapeutic process.
I am a Somatic Experiencing (c) Practitioner, with specialized training in trauma resolution and integrative body oriented psychotherapy.
I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, and a BA from Brown University. I completed my clinical internship in Mental Health Services at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and served as a clinician working with youth and families in a residential setting at Hathaway Sycamores Child and Family Services.
